Reports to send

  • Biopsy and pathology reports
  • Scan reports and images (CT, MRI or PET-CT), on a CD, USB stick or download link
  • Recent blood tests
  • Treatment so far: surgery notes, chemotherapy or radiation history, discharge summaries
  • A list of the medicines you take now

Send what you already have. Your coordinator will tell you if the hospital needs anything else.

You can attach scans, lab results and prescriptions directly in the WhatsApp chat, or reply to our email with them. When you start, you also get a private, secure space to upload documents.

What you receive in writing before deciding

The hospital's treatment opinion

What the hospital's doctors recommend, based on your reports.

A written cost estimate

The hospital's estimate for the treatment it recommends.

Both come before you make any decision or travel. Asking for them carries no obligation.

Common questions

Can the hospital review my diagnosis before I travel?

Yes. Your coordinator sends your reports to the hospital's oncology team, who give a written treatment opinion. You read it, together with the written cost estimate, before you decide anything.

I have already started treatment at home. Can I still ask?

Yes. Send what has been done so far — surgery notes, chemotherapy or radiation history and discharge summaries — so the hospital can see the full picture.

What if I don't have a biopsy report?

Send what you have. If the hospital needs a report or test you don't have yet, your coordinator will tell you.

Who decides my treatment plan?

The hospital's doctors propose it and you decide, with them and with your own doctor if you wish. Meridian is a facilitator, not a medical provider, and does not give medical advice.
